Our Philosophy

Laing Copywriting was founded by Lizzie Hopkinson, after over a decade of working in marketing. “Marketing is an incredible combination of creativity and analysis, and only works when the two function together. You can have all the creativity in the world, but if you don’t track, measure and report, you have no idea whether your creativity has had an impact,” says Lizzie. Lizzie has worked on both sides of the fence, as a junior consultant for a marketing agency, and as the Head of Marketing for a 32-home care group. She understands what it is like to project manage freelancers as well as work with clients. Throughout her marketing career, she has been constantly drawn to content creation and specifically to writing engaging content for clients and companies. It was therefore a natural progression to found her own copywriting company to deliver relevant, professional copy to businesses. She knows that as a busy marketing manager, SEO professional, or business owner, one of the most important requirements from freelancers is to deliver on time, on budget, on target, and with minimal fuss. This is exactly what she delivers.
